Research has shown that the most important indicator of success in therapy is the rapport between client and therapist.
Before you schedule your first session with me, I offer a brief, complimentary phone consultation. Let’s talk and see if working together feels like a good fit. If it does, that’s great! If not, that’s fine, too. Please share honestly so I can help you find a therapist who best meets your needs.
Insurance: I am in-network for BCBS Carefirst. Please call the phone number on the back of your card to confirm. Also contact your insurer to find out about your co-pay and number of covered sessions. Ask about services provided by a clinical social worker and billing codes 90791 (initial assessment), 90834 and 90837 (individual therapy), so there are no surprises for you.
Clients often bring their babies to the office, and should feel welcome diapering and feeding their baby as needed. I’m a mom too, so no need to worry about doing any of these mom-tasks in front of me.
